Along the Point Reyes coast, wind-driven upwelling lifts deep, cold nutrient-rich Pacific water to the surface, where it feeds Tomales Bay and shapes our salt's bright, savory character.

WIND & SUN

At our saltworks, seawater is slowly cycled through evaporation towers, where coastal wind and sun concentrate it into mineral-rich brine.

HAND HARVESTED

After the wind has done its work, the brine is finished over wood fire. As crystals form, we harvest by hand, building a delicate texture and leaving behind the bitter edge.

Bright and savory, our salt brings food into focus. Use it to season as you cook, finish at the table, and add a final lift to fish, vegetables, bread, eggs, and simple everyday meals.
